 M2 Motorway:

The M2 is a motorway in Kent, England. It is 26 miles long and acts as a bypass of the section of the A2 road to run past the Medway Towns, Sittingbourne, Faversham, and to provide an alternative route to the Port of Dover, supplementing the M20

M3 Motorway:

The M3 is a motorway in England, from Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, to Hampshire; a distance of approximately 59 miles. The route includes the Aldershot Urban Area, Basingstoke, Winchester, and Southampton. It was constructed as a dual three-lane motorway except for its two-lane section between Junctions 8 and 9.

M4 Motorway:

The M4, a motorway in the United Kingdom running from west London to southwest Wales, was originally referred to as the London-South Wales Motorway. The English section to the Severn Bridge was constructed between 1961 and 1971; the Welsh element was completed in 1993.

M5 Motorway:

The M5 is a motorway in the UK linking the Midlands with South West England. It runs from junction 8 of the M6 at West Bromwich near Birmingham to Exeter in Devon. Heading southwest, the M5 runs east of West Bromwich and west of Birmingham through Sandwell Valley.

M6 Motorway:

The M6 motorway runs from junction 19 of the M1 at the Catthorpe Interchange, near Rugby, Coventry via Birmingham then heads north, passing Stoke-on-Trent, Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, Lancaster, Carlisle and terminating at the Gretna junction.

M6 Toll Motorway:

The M6 Toll, also called the Birmingham North Relief Road, connects M6 Junction 3a at the Coleshill Interchange to M6 Junction 11A at Wolverhampton with 27 miles of six-lane motorway.

M8 Motorway:

The M8 is the busiest motorway in Scotland and one of the busiest in the United Kingdom. It connects the country's two largest cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and serves other large communities including Airdrie, Coatbridge, Greenock, Livingston and Paisley. The motorway is 60 miles long.

M9 Motorway:

The M9 is a major motorway in Scotland. It runs from the outskirts of Edinburgh, bypassing the towns of Linlithgow, Falkirk, Grangemouth and Stirling to end at Dunblane.

M10 Motorway:

The M10 was a motorway in Hertfordshire, England, running for approximately 3 miles from the M1 motorway at junction 7 near Hemel Hempstead to the A414 North Orbital Road at Park Street Roundabout, just south of St Albans. Opened in 1959, it was reclassified as part of the A414 in 2009.

M11 Motorway:

The M11 motorway is a 55-mile motorway that runs north from the North Circular Road in South Woodford to the A14, northwest of Cambridge, England. Originally proposed as early as 1915, various plans were considered throughout the 1960s, with final construction being undertaken between 1975 and 1980.

M12 Motorway:

The M12 motorway was a planned motorway starting in north-east London and joining the A12 road in Essex.

M18 Motorway:

The M18 is a motorway in Yorkshire, England. It runs from the east of Rotherham to Goole and is approximately 26 miles long. A section of the road forms part of the unsigned Euroroute E13.

M20 Motorway:

The M20 is a motorway in Kent, England. It follows on from the A20 at Swanley, meeting the M25, and continuing on to Folkestone, providing a link to the Channel Tunnel and the ports at Dover. It is 50.6 miles long. Although not signposted in England, this road is part of the European route E15.

M23 Motorway:

The M23 is a motorway in the United Kingdom, running from the south of Hooley in Surrey, where it splits from the A23, to Pease Pottage, south of Crawley in West Sussex where it rejoins the A23.

M25 Motorway:

The M25 or London Orbital Motorway is a major road encircling almost all of Greater London, England. The Dartford Crossing is part of the orbital route but is not part of the motorway. The M25 is one of the most important roads in Britain and one of the busiest.

M26 Motorway:

The M26 is a motorway in Kent, England. It provides a short link between the M25 at Sevenoaks and the M20 near West Malling.

M27 Motorway:

The M27 is a motorway in Hampshire, England. It is 25 miles long and runs between Cadnam and Portsmouth. It was opened in stages between 1975 and 1983. It is unfinished, as an extension to the east was planned.

M32 Motorway:

The M32 is a motorway in South Gloucestershire and Bristol, England, which at roughly 4.4 miles is one of Britain's shortest. It provides a link from the M4, a major motorway linking London and South Wales, to Bristol city centre and is maintained by Highways England, the national roads body.

M40 Motorway:

The M40 motorway links London, Oxford and Birmingham, a distance of approximately 89 miles. The motorway is dual three lanes except for junction 1A to junction 3 a short section past junction 4 and a short section past junction 9.

M41 Motorway:

The M41 was a short spur from the former A40(M) westway london

M42 Motorway:

The M42 motorway runs north east from Bromsgrove in Worcestershire to just south west of Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire, passing Redditch, Solihull, the National Exhibition Centre and Tamworth on the way, serving the east of the Birmingham metropolitan area. It is unfinished and doesn't go to Nottingham as originally planned.

M45 Motorway:

The M45 is a motorway in Northamptonshire and Warwickshire, England and is 7.9 miles long. It runs between junction 17 of the M1 motorway south east of Rugby and a junction with the A45 road southwest of Rugby. It has one of the lowest traffic volumes of the United Kingdom motorway system.

M48 Motorway:

The M48 is a 12-mile long motorway in Great Britain, which connects Gloucestershire, England, and Monmouthshire, Wales, via the Severn Bridge. This road used to be the M4, and as a result is anomalously numbered: as it lies to the north of the current M4 and to the west of the M5, it is in the Motorway Zone 5.

M49 Motorway:

The M49 motorway is a 5-mile motorway west of Bristol, England, that forms a link between the M5 motorway at Junction 18, and the Second Severn Crossing, now officially renamed the Prince of Wales Bridge on the M4 motorway at Junction 22.

M50:

The M50 is a dual two-lane motorway in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Herefordshire, England. Sometimes referred to as the Ross Spur, it is a 22 miles connection of the M5 motorway to a point near Ross-on-Wye, where it joins the A40 road continuing westward into Wales. The motorway was fully opened in 1962.

M53:

The M53 is an 18.9-mile motorway in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral and Cheshire on the Wirral Peninsula in England. It can also be referred to as the Mid Wirral Motorway. It runs between the Kingsway Tunnel, at Wallasey in the north, and the A55 at Chester.

M54:

The M54 is a 23-mile east-west dual carriageway in the English counties of Shropshire and Staffordshire. It is also referred to as the Telford dual carriageway, after the road's primary westbound destination, the new town of Telford.

M55:

The M55 is a motorway in Lancashire, England, which can also be referred to as the Preston Northern Bypass. It connects the seaside resort of Blackpool to the M6 at Preston. It is 12.2 miles in length.

M56:

The M56 motorway, also known as the North Cheshire motorway, is in Cheshire and Greater Manchester, England. It runs from Junction 4 of the M60 to Dunkirk, near Chester. With a length of 33.3 miles, it is often busy with long-distance commuter traffic towards North Wales.

M57:

The M57 motorway, also known as the Liverpool Outer Ring Road, is a road in England. Designed as a Ring road road for Liverpool, it is 10 miles long and links various towns east of the city, as well as the M62 and M58 motorways.

M58:

The M58 is a motorway passing through Merseyside and Lancashire, terminating in Greater Manchester. It is 12 miles long and provides a link between the M6 motorway and the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton.

M60:

The M60 motorway, Manchester Ring Motorway or Manchester Outer Ring Road is an orbital motorway in North West England. Built over a 40-year period, it passes through all Greater Manchester's metropolitan boroughs except for Wigan and Bolton.
